Ean grew up playing sports since he was 7, and as the child of a doctor and dietitian developed a love for health and wellness quickly.
However before his athletic career could ever take off he was faced with health catastrophes. While being recruited as a high level high school athlete, Ean suffered a ruptured appendix in the middle of a football game followed by kidney failure a few months later.
A year later at the age of 19, and then on his 21st birthday Ean was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and underwent chemo, radiation, and a bone marrow transplant which changed his life forever. But it was life after treatment that influenced Ean the most.
For the next 5 years Ean suffered from physiological and psychological side effects from cancer and cancer treatment that left his struggling to live his life and participate in activities of daily living. After dealing with the experience of a cancer relapse and the side effects of cancer and the treatment associated with it, he took his passion for health and wellness and made it his purpose to make health and wellness standard practice for life after treatment.
After seeking the help of what felt like an endless list of medical professional to remedy his side effects with no improvement, he took his health into his own hands and developed the knowledge and skills to live the quality of life he believes should be the standard of cancer survivorship.
